The value of a set of basic plow lights is right around $125.00 and the value for a high-end plow light set is over $500.00 so this theft is no small matter for the snow plow owner. The cost of the repair may also include shop labor if the thief caused additional damage when he pilfered the lights.
Snow plow lights are one of the items most that are easily stolen as they are typically bolted on with one or two bolts per side and the electrical systems include a quick-disconnect design.
